Five top tips to stop fit turning into flab over Christmas!

Five top tips to keep in mind if you want to beat the indulgent temptations this Christmas. Avoid starting the New Year without having to restart your health and fitness regime. 

 

  1. Create healthy habits.

Make exercise a priority especially during the holidays. If you’re going to overindulge (and we all know we will!) then counterbalance by organising and committing to exercise, something is better than nothing. Schedule a time, set an alarm and workout when it’s best for you.  It is so important to make a plan that includes small reasonable goals and specific actions that’ll encourage you to achieve them.

  1. Don’t W8 for the new year to get on track.

There is no time like the present (see what we did there?) Your good health is a gift from yourself. Make that choice to be healthy. Nurture and be kind to your body without letting Christmas be your excuse for self-abuse.

  1. Give gifts that create a healthy lifestyle to loved ones.

Spread the good health message. Give presents to loved ones to encourage a healthy lifestyle, gym clothes, trainers, recipe books, a GYM in a Box!

  1. Goodwill. 

Even if you struggle to maintain your usual fitness routine over Christmas try and create ways to be active. Goodwill, encourage that friend or relative who doesn’t usually exercise to workout with you, it’ll make you both feel good. Go out for walks or runs with family. Make being/getting fit enjoyable, try a W8 GYM workout with one of your friends.

  1. Have Fun!

Christmas is about having fun – but not at the expense of your health and all the hard work you put into your fitness for the rest of the year! Remember, a moment on the lips a lifetime on the hips!
